Ceramic Membrane Technology: A Revolutionary Solution
Ceramic membrane technology is considered third-generation membrane technology due to its superior intrinsic material properties, such as exceptional durability, resistance to fouling, and high filtration performance. However, its high cost has traditionally limited its widespread adoption across various industries.
In 2015, a group of scientists and industry veterans in East India recognized the urgent need for low-cost ceramic membrane technology in the field of separation science and water treatment. With a vision to address the growing challenges of water scarcity and the need for sustainable industrial water management, they pooled their expertise and resources to establish Need Inovation (NI). The objective was clear: to develop and manufacture innovative, affordable ceramic membranes with modular technology, aimed at revolutionizing the water and wastewater treatment sectors.
At Need Inovation (NI), we are pioneers in ceramic membrane technology, committed to providing sustainable and cost-effective solutions for water treatment. With a strong foundation in material science and over 100 years of combined research experience in sol-gel technology and ceramic moulding, we have become the first company in India to manufacture high-performance KERASIEV® Ceramic Membranes. Our membranes offer unmatched durability, efficiency, and performance, making them ideal for demanding industrial applications, including textile, pharmaceuticals, and more.
